Posting and blocks inconsistency

I notice it here and on my site that when I reply to a post that sometimes I will get the left block and sometimes I will get a full post block without the left blocks.  Has anyone else noticed that?

On TP when I create a new post I see the left block.  When I quote a post I do not see the left block.  Same thing happens on my site.

Is this be design? For some reason I always thought I saw the blocks whether I started or new topic or quoted.  Can anyone test this on their 0.9.8 site?

This site does not have TP V098 anymore, it has the latest code for 1.0.5 so why does it need to be tested in V098 if you have the same issue on both versions ?

I know that TP doesn't have .098 anymore.  I was asking if someone else noticed this on 1.0.5 and if someone else, outside of TP, can test it on their 098 site.

No. It did not happen in .9.8. I just checked it while using the "quote" function. The same thing happens if you use the Quick Reply and then click the "Preview" button.

I'm not sure whether it's been mentioned in the bug report or not. I know the Preview button problem has been mentioned somewhere.

Thanks for validating this JPDeni.   If this is how it's supposed to be by design in 1.0.5, then I'll leave it as is.  However, if it's not supposed to be this way, then I'll be happy to submit a ticket in the bugtracker.
