Hello there,

I have a problem with the FCKeditor. In a new or existed article when i press the button to add/modify an image it works ok, but when i press (in box 'image properties') the button to see the images i uploaded on server it returns the following error in a msgbox 'XML request error: Internal Server Error (500)' and it doesn't appear any images.

Just to inform you this problem appeard after i moved the website (smf + tinyportal) to other server and under new domain name.

Thank you

Something you will have to contact your host about, internal server error is the same as some errors or blocks in the servers settings.

You can however try and change the permission to the fckeditor folder manually and see if it helps, try 755 or 777 but if that doesent work, you will have to ask your host to check the settings on the server.

Well, thank you for reply.

First I tested to chmod the folder to 777 (and all the files included) but it still returned me the same error. Secontly i created a new *test* install of SMF + tinyportal (in other folder) and it returned me the same error. Propably it is a server matter. I will contact with my provider's support but first can you tell me what could create that kind of error so that i help the technician to understand my problem?

Thank you

Cant really say as all the info from IE google search all come up with the same answer.

Permission to the FCKEditor folder  777 or 755, dont know if you tried 755 or not, also check the permission on the folder you upload images to on the server, it needs to have the same permissions so the script can"talk" to it

I did that too. Nothing fixed this. I contacted a support techniacian of my host provider as it doesn't look as a tinyportal problem to me.

Thank you for your replies
