show left & right panel

how can i setup the left and right panel to show in forum..

i try for several ways...

hope anybody can help..

secondly..

im not using frontpage but i set it up to (go directly to the forum). in tp 0.9 when user log of or log in it bring the user to main index not to =forum. but in this new tp it bring user to the forum without right and left panel...

how can i set it up to make go directly to the forum but when user login or log off its currently bring user to main index not to the forum..

You set that in your panels settings

Admin/TinyPortal/Blocks and Panels/ left, right depending on what side you want to change and then Panel in the menu, there you find the settings for them to hide or show

before this...

i have a problem while install new version of tp.

the problem is fail in index.template.php in package manager..

how can i edit it manually/what i change?

to answer it, just the same way you did on the older version. Search for the code as it's posted several times in here allready.
