I've read the TP Docs on articles and I've searched the forum but I haven't found anything that tells me where to put the icons that I want to use for my article categories.  There's a space to put the filename of the icon but I don't know the path to upload the icon to.  Can someone help?  Hopefully I didn't just overlook it.

Ken.

Try right click>properties on one of the default icons and see if that gives you the path.

Have not tested this path, but it may be the one you need.

Thanks for the help Ken.  Which default icons are you talking about?  There aren't any article icons unless I add them as far as I can see.  Also, I don't have a /tp-file/tp-articles/... folder structure on my site.  The only ones starting with tp are /tp-downloads and /tp-images/.  Each of those have an icons folder but when I tried putting the icon in there, it still didn't show up.

Ken.

What version of TinyPortal are you using?
Check the posting guide at the top of this board and edit your first post so that we are better able to id the issue.

Updated.  Sorry about that.  This is my first support request.

Ken.

Please disregard my earlier posts... been focused on TP v1.0.5 Beta 1 lately and the comments posted were for that release.

For your issue; try uploading the icon you wish to use to a folder on you server and posting the path to that image in the "icon:" space.

That worked!  Thanks Ken.  I used a relative path.  I created a folder and uploaded the image to it.  In the icon field for an article category, I put in the relative path to that image like I've displayed below.

Ken.

Sounds great.

Marked as solved.
