Hello,
Which directories on the server need to have made backups of before trying to install the 1.0x of TP?  In case it doesn't work I wish to return to my normal running operations asap since our site can be quite busy at times.

Thank you,

JPDeni

I wouldn't install it on a working site. I would copy all of your current files to a subdirectory and copy the database to another one and then install TP1.05 on the test site to make sure that it works. It will give you a chance to work with it without having to worry about getting everything back up quickly.

If you insist on installing it into a live site, make backups of every file and every database table that has "tp" in the name.

when I back up SMF from the admin, does it back up all the TP files as well and the DB?   I also us the DB back up on my server now and then, not sure what all it backs up

When you use the backup from the admin area it only backs up the mysql database, not the actual files in the local server directory those need to be backed up manually through FTP or whatever other means you have at your disposal.
