Okay, here it is. Copied as told.  ???

I found your problem. Remember what I said about apostrophes? ;)

<!-- Begin the Gunny Ermey's USMC Web Ring HTML Code --><!-- DO NOT ALTER CODE AS YOU MAY BREAK IT NUMBNUTS!!! -->

(like we'd say <u><i>no</i></u>...)</font></p>

Either get rid of them completely --

Gunny Ermeys USMC Web Ring and like we would say no

or (there's a word that goes here that I can't remember) -- put a slash in front of the apostrophes --

Gunny Ermey\'s USMC Web Ring and like we we\'d say no

Either one of those should work.

Great! THANK YOU!!! Now, if I could figure out the button ads coded in there :-0 Surely didn't work how I thought they would, even after a bunch of fooling w/. I took out until I can get it straight.

I guess next I would like to try adding different menus for different time areas. You aid do it by adding blocks... do I do this to each category? I was wondering about that. I'll fool w/ here in a bit -- just got back form trip to Ohio

sturmkatze

Urrrrk, if you go look at this page (the main WWI one) It now has two site menus (my goal is to kill the main one when in this category) and not only that, it has ALL the categories in there. How does one get the sitemenu to do what I am asking? There HAS to be a way I'm too stupid to find.

JPDeni

I'm not sure what it is exactly that you want, but, if you recall, a page or two back I suggested that you not use the site menu, but instead create your own menu. That will give you complete control over the contents of the menu.

sturmkatze

Ahhhhh, I missed that part... I remembered "block" okay. I can try that. Eventually I DO get things  :P Tomorrow will work some more. Today was first day back to driving... very calming, no stupid phone calls, etc. Anyway, I really DO appreciate your help!!!! I will fool w/ some that way.

Okay, had a bit of time to fool w/ the links vs. the menu item thing and it seems to work well, but (and you knew I'd have one right?)... I can get it to show up on this, the main WWI page, but it won't show up on the WWI Units page that I made here?! It's also not showing on the WWI German units page either. ??? Is there some kind of setting I am missing? That's part of what I'm after, having the separate menus show up in each time period and only in that time period I want them in.
