adding a page?

im looking to link my members names, to a new page with individual profiles, with the same blocks that are on the homepage.
how to i create another page?

I did. it just makes an article on the homepage.
I don't think your understanding what im asking, or maybe you do.

Is there a way to make a page, with all the same info(blocks etc) and have it just there.. And link a word to it.
For example, if i wanted to link "JPDeni" from my homepage, to "JPDeni's roster page" how would i do that?
If I create an article, I have to put it on a page no? What I'm asking is, if it has to be with articles, can I make an article, not put it anywhere, and have something link to it?

If you make an article, it has to be in a category in order to be seen.

You can create links between articles by using html or BBC (depending on which kind of article you make). You can use either the article number or the "Query title" to access it.

The number is assigned by the script if you go to the article within the editor and click on the "preview" link, you'll see the URL for that article, which you can then use to create a link to that article. Or, if you have defined a query title, you can use that. With the example you gave above, you might set the query title to be "JPDeni". In that case you would access that page by using something like www.yourdomain.com/index.php?page=jpdeni

I don't think so, but I'm not sure what "not put it anywhere" means. The text for each article is automatically put into the database. So it's not possible to create an article that isn't anywhere. Everything has to be somewhere.

Lol see bad explaining.
Um, for example dreamweaver.. you make one page, copy and paste it to be the same and edit it the way you want, and link them all together, then upload each one to the webserver. and you make a new page when you need to, link them all again, and re-upload.
In sense thats what I want to do. have a page with all the same info, but not have an article on the main page. I want a seperate page, that a link can go to.

Go to Admin > Tiny Portal > Settings and Frontpage > Front Page

In the section called What to display on front page: choose Front page blocks. That way, there will be no article shown on the front page. Then create blocks with links to the articles you create or use a site map or menu article to create links.

Ok I did that, but then it wont let me activate an upper block with my news.

edit: i chaged the frontpage setting back, and for somereason it still wont let me activate the article.

edit: idk what i did but articles work now.
