Editor stuck on WhizzyWig??

This sounds lame but my editor is stuck on WhizzyWig. I've tried everything possible to change it back to FCKeditor. The TP settings show FCKeditor is selected but when I try to start a new article its still in WhizzyWig. Anybody have any suggestion? Really appreciate it.

thanks IchBin, looks like it'll resolve my issue.

ZTN, to answer your questions. yes there are error logs. Its been a little while since ive checked these. Didnt realize i've accumulated thousands of errors all being these two.
