Help with a menu

I'm attempting to create a new menu for members, running into an issue I can't figure out.

The menu I'm trying to use is from Dynamic Drive, found here:

I get it set up fine, everything works, except one thing. It won't float or remain staic on the page as it's supposed to.

All I can figure is something else is messing with it.

I have attempting putting the code for the menu in a block, and also directly into the index.template.php file. Both have the same effects. It shows up fine and works, it just won't "float." It should remain at the top of the page even when you scroll down.

Any idea's how to solve this?

I haven't downloaded the script from DD, but the demo doesn't work in FireFox 2 on their site at this moment.

The last update to that script was in '03. Also, in the README.TXT file, this line may explain it all:

Code Select Expand

var keepstatic=1 //specify whether menu should stay static (works only in IE4+)

May be best to look for another script that is more current...
