Resolving Missing Text in new SMF/TP Installations. NEED HELP.

I read the guide which is the same as the title.
But I still get missing text in my portal/forum.
With the first fix in the guide, there was just English there
and was already select so I still got this missing text probelm.

Such as in the edit block menu in the portal, I have missing text
in the activate/deactivate etc, its just a cross with normal writing.

What do I do?

Have you tried the steps in the manual install guide?
Check that to see if the required edits were made to your SMF files when you did the install.
