This just brought tons of memories and also confirmed some of my old fashioned thinking...and arguments over  the 'unspoken' aspects of web as it is today.

probably my favorite topic(s) of all times....
anyhow, it could be some fun-ny reading if anything.

What triggered this?
I saw someone in SMF pound on their chest for making a theme that is table free...
I had no heart or energy to waste so I browsed the old zen gardens and css lovers sites to see if I have missed something in last 2-3 browsers' versions...only to have found this good old gem.
Maybe of no use to portal based community...

What happened to File-->New... :D

All the best!

I read every single article of that site when I was ill in bed a few days ago.

Good read that people should have a look at.. without being rude..

Def. good reading..a reminder to stop indulging in exciting and complex setups - like darn-its-moving-and-i-cant-hit-it flash-based "button-dsplays" lol.

Ken.

I too read a lot of the articles and found myself agreeing with most everything he was saying.
Now just need to apply some of that to my site to see if it can be improved.  :)

LOL ... I used to get a lot angry reponses in other web communities but there is a lot of tips that even I forget or get too "Photoshop Happy" and then monkey arround with code to accmodate it. One tip I really liked was "have you seen you site in monchrome (b&w)"....never really thought of it. While the site has great humor in their statements I thought it was pretty good read and thught to share it with rising TP crowd.
Hey Happy New Year to all good  people of this community! :)
