Unable to access Tiny Portal Admin seciton

You guys are NOT going to believe this....I figured out what the problem was... when I made that forum I used another screenname as my "root admin" acount.. then I made the kjb0007 account (in a different membergroup) and gave it all admin privies... me being logged on as kjb0007 - its not letting me see the admin block for TP.. but I just logged in to it using the root admin account and I see it fine...

ZTN.. I want to thank you for the help you just gave me and I want to apologize for being STUPID and not remembering that I had to be logged in as root in order to see TP admin stuff.

haha well with what I just put ztn through I need to hide from him ..lol. I wish that we didnt have to be logged as the root admin account because I have my other admin set up in a diff group as well, but thats a small price to pay for getting this to work.

Other Admin should see those areas.. I just did.

Your in the main administrator account. my kjb0007 screenname is in a different membergroup entirely with admin privies. Might be something for a future release of TP to include?

I have 2 admin accounts on my site and don't have this problem.

What are the other Admin Primary and Secondary groups?

Example:
Bob is an Admin, his primary group is News
Bobs Secondary member group is Admin.

I'm not sure if that would make a difference.

Just tried making my primary group administrator and secondary the other account but it didnt make a difference... its ok though.. as long as it works..

Very strange. Actually.. My own Primary Member group is DJ.. My Secondary group is Admin.
No problems there.

I'll mark this topic solved.. But I assume this is not the original problem you had.. or was it?

the problem has been solved.. by all means mark it SOLVED!!  lol. Thanks again for the help. I will play around with the primary/secondary later and see if I can get it straight.. no big deal if I cant.
