Default membergroup on signup

I need to know if theres any info on adding a new user on sign up to a default membergruop, I tried both plugins listed on smf.com downloads but neither work, I'm thinking its because TP? I'm not sure

any help would be great thanks

Admin --> Memebers Section --> Registration
Primary Memeber Group: [ choose  ]
TP should not interfear with this at all...

I got that part...I did figure it out I was using one smf plguin and it wasnt doing what I wanted it to, The other package worked for me, Thanks for the help I found the package settings there
