OK, it was cute at 1st. The forum administrator wanted lots of smileys. Now there are just too many4 or 5 full pages large and small. I have played with the smiley sets all night and I cant find a way to organize them in some way.

Is there a tool / plugin?
I had created 5 sets default, classic, small, medium, large, holidays. I guess they all end up in one bucket. I have soooo many red X's. It expects them to all be in 1 set.

Has ANYONE had a forum with LOTS of smileys done right?

Please help. Its 1 big pain in the butt!!!!

You need to ask this at SMF, we can only support TinyPortal.

Thanks  :)

best way is to use smileys in moderation than too much as I also had this problem I removed the unwanted ones

smiley sets is the best way

if you go to edit smilies in the admin area, you can decide where and how many smilies for both forum and popup and hidden.. depending on the size of the smilies, arrange them how you like on the forum, the rest, stick them in your popup  ;)

well as Zetan said, you would do best by checking out the SMF part of it.. it isn't a matter for it to not be talked about here, only, and i do mean only because it is part of your forum feature.. not a part of the tinyportal one.. make any sense?? and besides, if you have questions on it, you can always ask the source directly.. just like if you have tp questions..  ;) and no problem.. glad to help..

Heaven forbid SM talk ever hits this forum....  :knuppel2:

It's not that you can't, or shouldn't discuss SMF questions here, it's more the case of Simple Machines is the place to ask for help with their software. We can only offer TinyPortal support. It's not the job of TinyPortal to change the Core code of SMF outside of TP.
We can and have offered support for SMF, but we also need to draw the line between TP support and SMF support.

I wouldn't ask Toyota or Ford for support for a Kenwood or Alpine car stereo unit I had installed that needed adjustment.
