well this block can be configured for new year very easily

do this:

open up the PHP file in the package

Then find:

<tr><td bgcolor="#99CCFF"><center><font size="1" face="Verdana">Christmas Countdown</font></center></td></tr>

change the christmas to new year

find:

<param name="grph" value="christmas25.jpg">

change over for a new year image of ur choice

find:

var futuredate=new cdtime("countdowncontainer", "December 25, 2006 00:00:00")

change the date to December 21, 2006 23:59:59
so that should be 1 sec b4 new year or u can set it 1 min after if u want

and thenfinally find:

function formatresults(){
if (this.timesup==false){//if target date/time not yet met
var displaystring=arguments[0]+" days "+arguments[1]+" hours <br>"+arguments[2]+" minutes "+arguments[3]+" seconds<br> left until Christmas"
}

and change the left until Christmas to left until new year

and thats all really

i did this and all works well apart from the fact the snow is still falling.
is there a way to turn this off ?

regards
Dave
