Hi all,

After some searching around the forums i have found that there isnt really an explaination as to how to put up a RSS auto poster onto the forum.  Something that will pull the RSS feed and post that Feed onto the forums under a specific section.

I am assuming it would be mod related but i am inquiring as to.... is there something like this for SMF.... i know for VB it is around.  Seen it in action.

Is there a mod for SMF that does this?  IF so what is it called and if possible do you have the url for it.

Thanks

Zetan

There is a package that does this at SMF.  :)

The support for the package will be at SMF, or the package authors website.

Xarcell

Yes, it is called Feedposter.

Here it is: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=141776.0

You have to have fsockopen enabled in your php.ini though.

I was just looking for that Xarcell.. The internet speed at work is like dial up, and with SMF, it's terrible.

snoopy_inc

i konw what you mean ;) i live in a country where the government thinks dial up is a good thing :S

BTW could you point me in the right direction with the fsockopen function... they talk about it but don't talk about how to write it.
