hi,

so, i have an new sfp1.1.4 install and try to put tp0.9.8 mod on it.
it all should work at an free-hoster.

i uploaded my tp.zip-file at the package-screen... it all works fine.
also the list shown from the mod by installing shows no error.

but i get a server-error 500 after all.
only change the index.php from xxx to 755 allows me to get back on the forum.

i tried a new "install" of sfp and tp several times but it doesn't work.
also i changed all files with chmod to 777 only the index.php to 755 and setting.php and settings_bak.php to 644

the temp directory in /packages is almost there and all files are unzipped there.

i need help and hope one of you can help me.

p.s. sorry for my bad english (i don't use it everyday )

You should check with your free host. Some free hosts do not allow additional mod or theme installations. 500 error on the server means permissions denied.

Nokonium

Make sure that the Packages folder and ALL the folders and files in it are 777.

my free hoster is awardspace.com (this should only help to solve my problem)
and all files in the packages folger is set to 777 ... surely.

omg... i am crazy  :uglystupid2:

it should be so easy but i have only problems

sry

any other suggestions? maybe one of them work.

Once again, did you contact your host???

Instead of changing the files to 777 try changing them to 755.  Some servers are configured so that you cannot run the files with the 777 permission.  As Ich suggested ask your host.

OK sorry for the long time to this answer.

so ... i tried another free-hoster and all work fine.
so think it have to do with the hoster.

i wanna thank you all for your help
even if i choose the most simple way of all.

thx @ all
