Question about buttons in TP 0.983

Hi,

I have just added a new button following this guide. http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=9919. You can see it here, its called "DKP" http://www.concept-guild.eu/smf/index.php . As you see, the button is not exactly adapted to the theme. Is there something I can do?

You need to go back and start again, you've missed some elements. Copy the Home button and make the changes to the new button.
Unless you're new button is an action ie; index.php?action=post;topic=19501.0;num_replies=0 .. yes it will work as a button, but the tab will not move to represent where you are on you're site.

My Rules button works and takes me to the Rules topic.. but it still shows I'm in the forum.

Thanks, that fixed. I had follow 100% the code from the HOW-TO, but didn't see that the theme had a different button creation code  . So I copied from another button and made it. Stupid me

Good job Now all you need to do is copy the button you just created to add any more you might need.
