Hi
I've just installed SMF to the root of my website and the url for the forum is the same url for the website.
http://domainname.com/index.php
and then I uploaded the TB and installed it using the normal wizard and it says that every thing has been installed correctly.
Now I have a little problem which is:
SMF forum was the home page of my website
Now TB is the homepage of my website and no link for the forum at all,
It displayed as if the TB replaced the SMF forums.
Please tell me how can I return my forum back.
Thanks

Zetan

Hi, if you want your site to go directly to the forum, and still have TP functionality.. go to:

Admin > (left menu) TinyPortal/Settings > Only forum-posts

That will display the forum on the Home Page.. You will now have Home and Forum Buttons. In the settings for TP gives you various options of how to display TP and SMF.

Well,
I'd like to have TB at the homepage and want to have a link for the SMF Forum.
Because I was thinking about using Joomla for the homepage but when I found TB, it will do the job, so what I want is:
- TB at the homepage.
- SMF Forum link at the homepage beside the other main links to lead to the SMF.
Thanks

You cant have tp in one dir and SMF or what ever in some other, TP wraps inside SMF so it have to be in the same dir you have your forum installed to.

MGadAllah

Well

I did not found any settings under the :
Admin > (left menu) TinyPortal/Settings
I just cut the place regarding TB settings and not the whole thing.
And both SMF and TB has been installed automatically ... I mean I installed SMF to the homepage using fantastico from my website control panel, and TB has been installed through package manager.
So what is wrong?
Do I need to do any thing else or need to redo any thing?
Thanks
