Modifing theme

I like to know is there any tutorial where I can step by step modify my theme so I can use it with TP.

And one more thing.
I installed a few themes from your site as I installing a smf themes, but, that is no that what it looks like on deafult theme.
Am I doing somethin wrong?

EDIT:
Themes must be written to work with your forum setup;
For SMF only there will be a theme version for that.
For SMF with TinyPortal there will be a different version of that theme, so you must be sure to download the correct one.
Most theme download pages will have a link for each version.


Please note that a few themes will work with both setups (SMF only & SMF/TP).
