I installed SMF & TP but blocks are repeated in left and right columns. and some of them are not there.

plz see

Ken.

vivid in your Block Manager please check to see if the blocks that are showing double are enabled for both sides, they should only have the green 'on' button showing for the side you want the block to show in.

No Ken.

it is only enable at the right column

also all other blocks are activated but not shown (admin tool + searchbox + sitemap + article category).

also when I send an ARTICLE it does not appear at the frontpage. in spite I enabled (5) Articles at frontpage and also I put all article options correct.

Ken.

OK, thanks for checking but lets just deal with one issue at a time.

Your theme appears to be custom built and based on the SMF Core Default, is this correct?
If this is so then we may be looking at some kind of code issue in the theme... in which case we will need to wait for a TP Team member who is able to address theme issues better that I am.

While waiting, have you tried turning off all of the blocks to see what it will display with them turned off?
Also, have you tried placing the forum in the SMF Core Default theme to see what shows in the theme?

Oooh My God

I did it

when I am working to change the direction of index.template.php to be from right to left, I changed the code

TPortal_sidebar('right');
it must be
TPortal_sidebar('left');

now all blocks are appeared

vivid

but why the ARTICLE not shown in the frontpage
all option of adding set correct

Ken.

Glad it worked for you.  :)

For your article question it would be best to start a new thread giving full details on what you've attempted to do and the result you see so far.
And, there have been lots of threads on the articles not showing subject, so a search may just give the answer you need.  ;)

hi Sir

now the Articles are shown
but note :
when I select the option
Forum-posts and articles - sorted on date
no Article shown except the Article that came with TP as default announce article
when I select the option
Only articles
all things are going ok

Ken.

Hi vivid, please start a new support thread with your article question.

The reason for doing so is the fact that any answers to your article question would be buried under your block question, so if we leave it here in this thread and if someone were to search for an answer on an article issue like you are having they would not see what resolution came about in this case.

Thanks... Ken.
