What is going to happen to my /index page if I install TP?

Forum version: SMF 1.1.3

Mod I have installed.

1. SMF 1.1.2 Update Package 1.1.2   
2. SMF 1.0.11 / 1.1.3 Update 1.1     
3. SMF Gallery Lite 1.7.6   
4. Ad Managment 2.3   
5. Streaming 3 4.2.2b   

I would like to install TP so I can play around with it.
Do I install in through SMF just like the other mods I have already installed?
What happens to my /index.html page that I have now after I install it?

Now if you got to ApplianceJunk.com the index page just auto refreashs to the SMF.

I would like to be able to keep it that way as I learn and play around with TP.

TP adds just like any other MOD in SMF and your index.php should work just the same,
One thing though, if you have other mods installed, you will probably run into errors during the install, so read through the manual install process so you know what you have to do if you get any error messages.
