I do apologize in advance if I post in the wrong section or this question already have asked too many times.

My forum is powered by  SMF 1.1.3 along with the latest TP, running alienation tp theme.

So far I have installed 2 separate SMF addon packages for Youtube and Google video embedding onto posts... but none of them seem to work. I see no youtube or google video icon on the menu bar when creating a post.

Is the problem I am having is due to they're not compatible when using TP or just simply not compatible with SMF 1.1.3?

Thanks in advance for your advice. :)

You have to manually make the edits for other themes then default when you use IE Alienation.
THe mods only installs to the SMF Default theme, so other themes needs to have the mod code added manually.
Ask on SMF how to manually add code to custom themes or ask the mod author to help you add it.

Ah... I see. I will research into that. Thank you very much for the quick response. :)

Did a whole bunch of search and read read read... I finally figure it out:

For those of you that are running custom themes with or without TP, using this addon is no problem at all:

Here is what you do:

-download the addon and install it using your forum admin's package manager.

-The installation will install everything making the script usable.. EXCEPT... it put the YouTube BBC image into your default theme instead. So all you have to do is make a copy of the YouTube.gif, upload it into your custom theme (the one that you're using) /image/BBC folder.

That's all :)

It works for me. But if there's any error on my part, experts... please advise :)

Sounds good to me. Internet Explorer is good to check for missing images.
