shout box wont show

[Northerner]

im having a similar problem with my shoutbox.

i have the box showing on the right side, but when i type something it dont show up and i get this message

Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again.

i have tried moving the box and that dont work, shouts are set to 5
but......
i click on the 'show last 50' and i can post there and then it shows up in the right box.

and i think there are errors in other places?

check your urls for your forum and your install.
That error usually show when the forum have http://your site instead of http://www.yoursite.

Download the repair_settings.php from simplemachines.org and use the tools in it to help you on the way.
