TP 0.98 index news

hi
i just updated to tp 0.983
and i had the news and name time logged in...etc block turned off
nowit's still off in every place of the site...but on the index..
it appears there now
and shows the avatar...news time logged in..etc..
how can i solve this?
i use smf 1.1.3

You have to explore the new settings you have in the TP andministration

what new setting are you talking about ?
are there new settings from 0.97 to 0.98..hmmm
if there are...I can't see them

EDIT: i just found it...
the thing is...in Tiny Portal  config
you have the index tab and the configuration tab
and the option regarding news and user info  is ..in both ...
so i had that option disabled in config tab but not in the index tab...
now i diabled it in both
