Category IDs / Menu Postions: Multiple of 1 instead of 10

I would like to see menu positions and category IDs changed to multiples of 1 instead of 10. I've only got three categories for articles on my site right now, so it looks kind of weird when you've got a category ID of 20 with only three categories...

Actually the category id is not linked to the menu system..thats just re-calculated each time. Rather its the id in the database...but its among other thins,s like shouts, so it will not be 1,2,3 unless you create them at once..

I am currently looking at adding a name instead of id for any category. More descriptive.
