Tpdownloads with joomla bridge...

Hey all I was just wondering if anyone here has used TPDL with the joomla bridge? As it goes the images wont show up any more. It tells me that the page cant be displayed. The link to the actual image works fine when put in manually but the bridge changes the link to the index:

this is the link the bridge creates: http://www.xxxxx.xxx/joomla/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&action=tpmod;dl
                                       

if: http://www.xxxxx.xxx/SMF/tp-images/images/xxxx.jpg it works fine.
