Problem Installing Tinyportal

  I am new and just began using SMF. I installed TP and it seems to work in that things look different, but in the admin area under TinyPortals I have no options to use it. Help thanks. thewayofaneagle.com

Sounds like missing language strings..check and see if you have all Lanuage files, if other than English..

You probably installed this thru Fantastico?

Log into your forum Admin Panel.
Left side menu - under CONFIGURATION choose Server Settings.
on that page look for Default Forum Language.
Make sure it is set to English, if it says English_utf8 just change it in the drop down menu to English and all should be well.

  The default forum language was English_utf8, I changed it and it works great. Thanks for the responses. Even though I am new, hence not well versed in what is out there, I am quite excited about this tinyportal mod. I have been trying to set up with joomla as well on another site because I want more than a forum. Hmmm maybe I can do all I want with SMF+TP. Thanks again for help and quick response.
