Install first TP or theme_tp?

I am upgrading my board to 11rc1 tonight, I have downloaded the newest tinyportal zip and also amber_tp.  When I finish my upgrad to rc1, would it matter which I install first tp or the theme?

TP first, then the theme for it would be the logical way to do it. Without TP, you cant use the theme, can you?

Yup very important to do it in that order.

Technically, it shouldn't matter because it installs to the default theme. So you could install your theme first. But, as gerrymo put it... logically you should do it the other way around.

I recommend the mod first..since the TP theme - if used at once - will give an error screen when its not finding the TP functions.

This is actually something i will change in all TP themes..the theme should just report that TP is missing and still work. Not halt to a grind because of it.
I didn't foresee all possible scenarios..especailly when its so many versions of a theme around.

That is exactly what happend Bloc.ÂÃ,  I did all this at about 4am and inadvertently installed the theme first.ÂÃ,  I had to go into my cpanel and remove the theme from my themes folder inorder to access my forum again.ÂÃ,  It's all up and running fine now however.ÂÃ,  Just a heads up for others.
