Ok I got a little lost just trying to make a static page coem up now what are you saying? ÂÃ, What's my solution here? ÂÃ, Should I go with another theme to use TP?

Three options for you to try.

1. The code I gave you above.
2. Create you own page iFrame it as an index page.
3. Copy your html/php to a frontpage block and use that.
