Show Front Page Blocks and Posts

Is there a way to do this? I want to show news posts, along with front page blocks, but ther eis no option.

Look in the block code snippets board and grab a snippet for recent post.  Then you can put it in a frontpage block

I haven't been able to find a snippet which does this correctly.

Board News doesn't work as it shows according to date of last post. And some are just links.

Ok I think this may help.  If I am understanding what you are wanting here.   If you set you front page settings to show frontpage blocks.  Then use this snippet and use it in a frontpage block.  With this snippet you can set it to show which board(the one that how your news post) you want to show.  If this will not help post back and I will see what else we can come up with.      http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=1234.0

That doesn't returns posts. Only links/stats. Unless its different then the code on Page 3.
