Whenever I try to add a category, i get the following database error:

Field 'subtype' doesn't have a default value
File: C:\lighttpd\htdocs\smf\Sources\TPortalAdmin.php
Line: 404

Fresh install, and everything else works as far as i can tell, I have a few forum posts and thats it.

PHP 5.2.1
mysql 5.0.37
lighttpd 1.4.13
smf 1.1.2

Thanks

You are referring to the "add category" function in the Article Manager right? At first I was thinking "Create new category" found in the Manage Boards and Categories settings, but that would not interfere with TinyPortal.

Latest TinyPortal version as well?

Update the TP tables with the database install file only from the download section and see if the error goes away  :)
