Hello! :)

I have this problem: Using TP and SMF I can not display the image of the "register".

In admin pannel:
If I use the English language it all ok. I display the image.
If I use the Italian language is not oK. I do not display the image.

But if I rename the file TPortal.english-utf8.php to TPortal.italian-utf8.php, I can display the image of visual verification, but I have the strings in English.

Why this?

This file "TPortal.italian-utf8.php" is download from this link:
http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=get704
and this is a package:
TP_098_italian-utf8_UNTRANSLATED.zip

I use TP vers. 0.9.8.3. and SMF 1.1.4.

Perhaps the Italian files are not UTF8 encoded. If the english files work, I would assume the Italian files should if they are properly UTF8 encoded.

How I can to see this?

I think, like you, that the problem is in this file TPortal.italian-utf8.php.

In attach the italian file

Well I don't know anything about language issues. You'll need to find out how to properly encode a file to be UTF8. Google is your friend unless Agridoc happens to show up. :)

Thanks for your support!!

Who is Agridoc? I don't know.

Now I see if this file to be UTF8 and I hope that I dont write the strings in the English language file.  :buck2:

I have resolved.
I have accidentally noticed, than opening the file TPortal.italian-utf8.php with Cpanel's code editor, in the first line of the code, before the opening of the php, there is this: <?php.   :o

I have cancelled therefore <?php, and now works.

My question: Why this?

Why when I open the file with "wordpad" or "Dreamweaver"  I did not see that?
