TP 0.9.8 problem - not visible in admin

I installed TP 0.9.8 using auto install via packages for SMF 1.1.2 (Not an upgrade) . I was not using any mods & was using the default theme.

When I went to admin, the TP section was blank.

SMF 1.1.2 , was installed by me from Fantastico .

Can you help me out with this?

Do you use any other language except the English on your forum ?
If so, you need to add the languagestrings for TP in /themes/Default/Languages "put your language files here with the English ones"

Look in the download section if your language is avaliable. we dont have a lot of languages translated.

I tried to install it manually , but it just says that you have successfully installed it & nothing changes, I mean the forum looks as if TP is not installed.

Had a look, and an easy fix for your problem would be to download this language (English UTF8) extract the files on your local computer, then upload them through FTP to
Themes/Default/Languages/ "place the files here" Refresh and have a wonderful day

    I have read a bunch of posts within the forums and the UTF8 english was my issue, the link that you provided was right on, I followed another link to the download section and it was the wrong zip file. I would like to suggest that when someone is posting this issue again just direct them to this post.
