Visual problems with 1.1.3 and the latest TinyPortal version

I seem to be missing some text around the editing part of the front page, not sure much because this is my 2nd day with tinyportal and smf so I'm still working around with it. I was wondering if anybody's had this before or have suggestions. thanks in advance
