Pictures displayed in articles - Possible bug?

Hey folks....

I have TP setup in my /forum/ directory.   I linked the index directory to forward there whenever the home url is reached....  www.example.com -> www.example.com/forum


In articles on the home page, the picture is not linking correctly.  It works on the forum home page however.

You know me... I know just enough to be dangerous   SO any help on fixing the link from just the home URL would be awesome.  Thanks you!

My pictures display OK, but I set up the pages in an html editor and paste all the code inside the <body> tags into the article. Bloc has said that there are problems with AplosRTE and he is looking for an alternative.

Thanks nokonium!    That gave me the idea to click on the toggle button in aplos.  That shows  the article in html and I edited the image path to be inclusive of the entire url.   Cheers!
