How many bullets can you put in each row in an article.  I am trying to have two or three columns but it want allow me to put but one bullet in each row.     Example

*content          *content
*content          *content
*content          *content
*content          *content

It will only allow me to have just the one column with bullets   .  I can make two columns but can only put the bullets beside I column .  Is it possible to do this?

IchBin

You could create a table and put one in each side. (if I understand exactly what you're saying.) lol

I will try that.  What I was trying to explain is  i want two list  with bullets beside each entry but it want let me have but one bullet per line making it where only one list has the bullets

Ok this will probably sound silly but remember you are not dealing  with the average bear.   How do you use the table in the editor.  I think my confusion comes in where I dont even know what the purpose  of a table is.  Or even how to use one.  I did a quick search but every post in this forum I think has the word table in it. LOL

Well, a table is one of the things you can use to control the position of elements in your page. Think of a table as having a set number of rows and columns. In HTML a row is referred to as <tr>(table row), and of course it has a closing tag </tr> to tell the browser where the table row ends. Inside the table row you can have columns(aka cells). The code for a column is <td> & closing is </td>. So lets make an example of how this works in basic form.

<table>
<tr>
<td>
put some stuff in here like bulleted lists :)
</td>
<td>
put another bulleted list in here :)
</td>
</tr>
</table>

Google search for html tables to get a TON more info on this. :)

The above would do something like this.

  • item #1
  • item #2
  • Item #3
  • item #1
  • item #2
  • Item #3

The table above is invisible, but this it what it would look like.

aahhh  know that it starting to make a little sense.  The way you explained it help Ich thanks alot.   now to go and play with it a little

worked perfect.  I could not figure out how to use the table that the editor makes by pressing the button but when I wrote it out like you showed above it works great.  Another bit of useful knowledge learned.  Thanks exactly what I was trying to do.
