Error installing .983 on 1.1.2

I have a fresh install on 1.1.2 and have just downloaded tp .983. I get this error.


Anybody know a solution, or will i have to do a manual install?

Yes, I think that error has something to do with server configuration. Not sure what though. I would head straight for the manual installation if I were you.

I see that host is 110.mb---

as you can see they co not currently allow upload of  .htaccess files and register_globals is disabled untill you identify yourself to their satisfaction.

could be the problem?

Maybe a sticky could save some headaches for users of 110mb and mods here,since it seems to be a popular choice,but does not install via the package manager as far as I can tell anyway.

I am only talking about trying to install tp now. They did not always disallow the .htaccess files from what the above link says anyway. How the register_globals affects installation via the package manager I do not know....


Can the .htaccess files be removed and then rezip tp for installation via the package manager then deal with 110mb later?
