Searching Downloads

[Yellowrose]

I did a search for this but didn't get the answer I was looking for.

We are currently installing the downloads to our site. We have close to 3000 files and I've had one of my site moderators ask me about this and couldn't answer her. I went to the downloads through the downloads link in the site map just as a member would but didn't see any kind of search available.

With 3000 files this type of search would be real handy.

I tried the site search but it does not find anything other then posts related to the filename for the download. It does not give any kind of result to show we have the file in the downloads themselves.

Is this maybe something Bloc is considering for a future release of TP that is just not available yet? And if available in 9.8 how do I go about enabling it for use by members and staff.
