Hi,

we only have the option to turn on or off the right and left panel when in forum...but i would rather having different option...

i want to maintain the left and right panel when i in the board index..but i dont want them to be shown when i have enter the board and inside the thread...

can somebody teach me how to customize it or is it impossible to do so?

At this point there is no way to get what you want im affraid.
When indide the forum, you are inside the board index, and i think TP is checking only that and not the thread or topic alone.

oh ic.....manually modifying the coding also can't?

anyway, thanks for your reply...

I think I know what your asking, but you can't do it with TP.098. Had to go back to TP.097. goto TP settings, hide left panel when in forum (yes),

hide right panel when in forum (yes).  Goto TP setting - Frontpage - go directly to forum index (yes).  This the way I set mine, maybe I misunderstand what you want done, if so sorry I'm kinda new at using SMF - Tinyportal myself

thanks for tasso's reply...

but i think you misunderstand...or maybe i don't understand what you mean....TP 0.9.8 does let user turn on and off the right or left panel in forum....

but my request is i do like right and left panel shown in forum except inside a board and inside a thread.....

When you login to my page the forum index is staring you in the face on center frontpage with left and right portal blocks on either side, if you click on a board or a thread its' fullscreen forum. you can have a look if you want http://bastrop.ihearutalking.us
maybe I just can't quite catch what your wanting, anyhow hope you find a solution.
