While you're at it, turn blocks display to OFF in the admin panel so you don't have to worry about this in the future.

Where is this? I'm not sure I follow what you mean though ... I want my blocks to display.

Resident Geek

Yes, but NOT in the admin section. If you've got a block that screws up TP, then you can't get to your admin section to fix it. Like what happened here.
Go to
Tinyportal > Settings> Hide panels when in admin section? > Yes
This will keep your admin section safe even if you screw everything else up.

mrbean17

Thanks RG, but looks like that option is already set to Yes.

IchBin

If it was set to yes, then you should have been able to use the action=admin link on your forum to go directly to your admin section.

Negative Batman. :(

Resident Geek

You didn't happen to install the Pretty URLs Mod did you? That might have prevented you from being able to access it with the action=admin.

IchBin

May I have a look at your admin? If so, feel free to PM me. As that feature should be working right.

Ich, sorry for the delay in a follow up ... found out that the other themes do work like this ... in by if you're in the admin, the side blocks do not appear. It only happens in the Amber theme.
