TP installed but cant see the tp menu in admin control panel

When i am in the admin control panel, I can only see TinyPortal box, but cant see the sub-menu such as setting, block manager etc...

can anyone help me how to solve this problem...

Hi, this question has been asked and answered many times.
You need to install the correct English language files from the download manager here at TinyPortal.
If you get really stuck, search and you will find Topics about it.

I see "install the correct English language files" in almost every thread...but where do you GET those "correct" files?  The only place I see to get English language files is by downloading the full TP version...and I've already installed that a MINIMUM of 20 times (yes, my gf has counted as I'm trying to fix her site)

Where can I get different English language files? I've been trying to install TP on www.thepetshack.org now for more than 3 weeks with NO luck. It should be simple.  SMF 1.1.2, newest TP version, everything should go right in.  I have this exact same setup running on one of my other sites, but this site just WON'T take it for some reason.

do i need to convert my forums database to utf? just uploading those files in place of the standard non-utf files didn't do the trick.

What forum are  you installing tp on?  This one www.thepetshack.org  Also what is the forum default language?  You can find this in the server settings in the admin panel

the site is on SMF 1.1.2.  We've been working on that now for 3 weeks. Just about 30 minutes ago I tried creating a fresh, clean install of SMF and trying to put TP on there first thing before any themes or anything else.  Still no luck.  That is located at www.thepetshack.org/forum

Back to the main site...I tried doing a manual install by unpacking the mod and uploading everything (I already tried using the TP manual install package and figured this couldn't hurt) and got these errors located at www.thepetshack.org/tp_install.php

This was resolved.  Had to do a manual install seems like the prior installation went affray.
