Not a waste at all.
Arcade only installs to the default theme. You have to manually add buttons for your new theme.
What theme did you buy ?

Azure :)

It's beautiful.
Sorry to be a complete pain but how do I add the arcade and contact buttons please?

G6Cad

Here are the code for the arcade button.

First you open up the index.template.php in themes/Azure/

find this line

if (in_array($context['current_action'], array('forum', 'tpadmin','tpmod','search', 'admin', 'calendar', 'profile', 'mlist', 'register', 'login', 'help', 'pm')))

Replace with this line

if (in_array($context['current_action'], array('forum', 'arcade', 'tpadmin','tpmod','search', 'admin', 'calendar', 'profile', 'mlist', 'register', 'login', 'help', 'pm')))

Then find this

// Show the [forum] button.
   echo ($current_action=='forum' || $context['browser']['is_ie4']) ? '<td class="main2tab_active_' . $first . '">&nbsp;</td>' : '' , '
            <td valign="top" class="main2tab_' , $current_action == 'forum' ? 'active_back' : 'back' , '">
               <a href="', $scripturl, '?action=forum">' , $txt['tp-forum'] , '</a>
            </td>' , $current_action == 'forum' ? '<td class="main2tab_active_' . $last . '">&nbsp;</td>' : '';

Then add this code right after that.

// The [arcade]!
   if ($context['allow_arcade'])
      echo ($current_action == 'arcade' || $context['browser']['is_ie4']) ? '<td class="main2tab_active_' . $first . '">&nbsp;</td>' : '' , '
            <td valign="top" class="main2tab_' , $current_action == 'arcade' ? 'active_back' : 'back' , '">
               <a href="', $scripturl, '?action=arcade">' , $txt['permissiongroup_arcade'] , '</a>
            </td>' , $current_action == 'arcade' ? '<td class="main2tab_active_' . $last . '">&nbsp;</td>' : '';

This will bring in the Arcade mod to Azure theme :)

That works fine for me, thank you very much indeed!! Very much appreciated.

I followed a tutorial on adding buttons and I had used the wrong quotes " instead of '

Thanks again! My members will enjoy that theme!

G6Cad

Thank YOU for contributing to me and my family with buying Azure :)
And it really IS a beautiful theme  :up:

It's worth it and it's nice to have support when you need to do stuff, keep on making the themes :D

I was ready to buy Azure myself, but due to issues with Pay pal (Not only for me, but friends and family alike), I now refuse to use them for anything!

As for the issue of this topic ... Changin the size of the area the shoutbox is in doesn't help any ... in fact my shoutbox is a front page center block, not a side block ... As well, it's not a height issue ... It all seems to boil down to the iframe (or whatever is being used to generate the vertical scroll bar) is variable width ... So if you have all short shouts, the scroll bar appears in the center of the block, not the far right hand side of the block....

I was able to find some of the shoutbox code, and in fact changed the layout of each shout message. However I have still not been able to find the bit of code that puts this stuff onto the page in the scrollable area.

If you could point me to the php file that does this part, and maybe give me a "find this code" type snippit, I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out from there.... I'm really no noob when it comes to PHP coding ... There's just sooooo much code to look through! y head starts swimming after a couple hours of searching :P

As for what versions of what I'm using, see my siggy :) I added everything there a while back ... Tho I spose I should note that I'm not using any other mods ...

Thanks again!

TPortal.template.php and TPortal.php is where you'll find the shoutbox codes. You search for shoutbox in those files and you should find everything you need.
