Hello.   I am looking for a program where I can make some graphics for my site.  I am new to the web site world and would like to find out if there are some programs that are possibly free.  Maybe something that is easy to use.   something that I can use to customize and create some ideas that I have.  I have googled and looked but everything that I have found cost too muck.  Thanks in advance.

Photoshop CS2 is a awesome program. It does cost alot. Or you can get GIMP.

Actually if you download Gimp portable you won't have to install GTK

I use Photoshop CS3 Beta it runs around 600 bucks.... Gimp is almost the exact same but free.
And there is great sites out there that offer free training aids like http://www.pixel2life.com. That site has tutorials on alot of programs.

Thanks for the info.  I want to be able to do my own graphic and maybe one day help others with it.  Off to the tutorials
