Article character limit?

Is there a way to remove the number of characters limitation for articles?  I've tried setting the post limit to none, but that doesn't seem to affect the articles.  I seem to recall a setting for that somewhere, but I can't find it.  It's a bit frustrating, because when I post something that's very long (a list of things, for example), it will cut a lot of content off the bottom, but FCKeditor will keep the height tags - so I'll have a 11000px article with 5K pixels of content...

Any ideas?

Its probably due to the amount of data that the actual SQL table row is set to handle. I don't have a TP 0.9.7 setup right now, can you check the table data type on the body row of the tp_articles table and see what it is? I think it was set to text back then or something, I can't remember.

Yup - it's set to text.  Should I change it to something else?

No, but I'll spread the word tomorrow at work that I'm somebody's hero! :D Maybe I'll get a raise... ;)
