Incidentally Bloc while I have you on the line.....

I did a search here last night for "scrolling recent post" and couldn't seem to find what I was looking for so I changed my search to "Scrolling text" and the 4th one down is a topic named "Scrolling Recent Posts". Any ideas???

I realize this is probably beyond your control but I really wanted to find the answers on my own as to not bother you guys with every little question.

THX again for all the hard work on smf/TP. You make me look like I know what I'm doing but we know the truth.... ;)

IchBin

You remember if you had "macth any words" or "match all words" chosen?
When I changed it to match any words Scrolling recent posts whas 5th or so on the list.

The search is new in SMF1.1..or rather parts of it, that I know. How it works internally I in the blue.

The people/developers over at simplemachines.org would probably know a lot more on this subject though.

Now that I think about it, I didnt choose "Advanced search".

I just hit search and went from there. I think the default is "macth any words". so that explains it.

Duh, I to stupid to hit the advance link. :uglystupid2:

Thanks !!!
