TP integration assessment needed

Okay, so in playing with TP, I think it can REALLY help me streamline my websites.  Now, I could really use honest assessment and opinions on layouts and thoughts of basically what you would do.

The site in mind is my biggest - http://www.cbr600rr.com -  It is a revenue generation point, so I need to ensure uptime is kept.  The traffic is pretty significant (a bit over 40k uniques monthly, 100k+ hits daily).

Now, about the site...  I have a normal "site" at www.cbr600rr.com with all my personal contributions (product reviews, racing reports, etc etc etc). 

And then I have the Gallery - http://www.cbr600rr.com/gallery
and forum - http://www.cbr600rr.com/forum

The bulk of the traffic is in the forum obviously.

What I'm looking for is really a thought on how some of the experienced people would take my site and integrate it into TP.

Some things I would do.....
With a site like yours you could use the articles feature pretty good. Allow users to submit articles with pictures or news. I haven't tried it myself, but you might be able to get Gallery to work in an Iframe inside an article. This way the gallery would appear in your site. Stay away from frames if possible, that's my motto. Most search engines that I've read about cannot search sites very well that have frames built in. Especially if it's your index page. For some of the blocks you can do somethings like random photo from the gallery, bike of the month etc.
It's completely up to you how far you want to take this. There was a site posted on here not too long ago that I thought had used TP to it's fullest. I'll see if I can't find that link. I'm sure after you're all setup and going you'll even have more ideas. I would even ask the community if they had anything they'd like to see.
It would be a great idea for you to even haver your own custom theme.

That's the thing. the possibilities are really endless, so my thoughts are a bit overwhelmed.  I need to organize and have a decent strategy for this.

Ideally I would migrate everything existing into TP using articles or whatever.  But I still need the same categorical layout which allows for my articles to be grouped and shown separately from general users.

Thanks for the initial feedback though!  I'll keep at it.
