Can I safely replace FCKeditor?

I downloaded the new fckeditor 2.4. Can I replace the in tinyportal integrated fckeditor with this version by just overwriting the files in the folder fckeditor?

I dont think it's all that easy.
Bloc have impemented that editor, so he must have changed some thing in the editor (or so i think)
But the best way to know is to hear what Bloc say himself, or simply back up the FCKEditor and then replace the files and see if it still works  :laugh:

I did, I replaced the fckeditor folder completely with the new and it seems to work... but how can I be sure...

Just by testing it, especially the uploading of images and folder system in the editor so it works with the folders it should point to.

For a full functional (TP-Compatible) Image Upload, the Upload connector must be modify.
