I just though it would be nice if I could turn of the left and right bars for iframe articles.

That way I could for example have the Stats page of our clan's CS:S server as a centre iframe php article, but with the left and right TP bars disabled.

Or is there perhaps a way of enforcing this in the Articles PHP code?

I second that request. I would like to have the right bar off for articles.

bloc

Not currently. But I am adding a "noblocks" option that can be tied with articles.

Leviathan

So it basically will be possible in a near future to have no blocks around an article, only in a different or more drastic way than I discribed it?

Yes, this will be internal to each article(when viewed "in full")..but also as a direct call in the string to turn them off. Basically to get around the problem with a wrong block making TP admin inaccessible.

Leviathan

I'm not quite following you on that direct call thingy, or do you mean we'll be able to turn it off by inserting a string (code) in the actual article ittself  ???

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to that in one way or the other :)

What he's saying is that you'll have the option to be able to turn on/off sidebars in each article. So when creating an article you will decide if you want the side bars to display with it. At least, thats the way I understand it.

bloc

Yes, thats correct..a setting. Thats internal.

But my other point was setting it in the queystring, like index.php?action=forum;noblocks.. this is meant as last resort though, so only admin will actually benefit from it. Others with have no effect.
