installation issue

ok, i tried to install tp .971 for a friends forum and something went way wrong. First of all the forum is set to default theme and there are no mods installed. Also after the first attempt I got this error Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tp_loadtheme() in /home/html/********/forum/Sources/Load.php on line 1131
Now, I know there are a few threads about this but after entering some ftp info, which it asks to, i dont receive this error now. What I end up with after installing is what looks like half of tp and no forums button to get into the forums lol. here is a screenie
My quesion is, why is it doing this and what do I need to do to correct it?

Was the forum set to the default theme when TP was installed? Because the tp_loadtheme() error is normally associated with installing TP when not using the default theme for the install.

SMF Default Theme - Core is default right? In that case then yes, it was set to the default theme. Don't know if it helps in troubleshooting or not but we're using SMF 1.1.1 and the most recent version of tiny portal from this site.

IT looks to me like your uploads didn't succeed or are corrupted for the TP stuff. Upload the "files only" package and see if that helps.
